The council propose a causeway carrying a dual track over Salen Saltings. Then, because of the narrow bridge, to have traffic lights to slow the traffic entering and leaving the village.
This proposal is unacceptable to both residents and visitors because the causeway would ruin an ecologically diverse area and the traffic lights would cause a) queuing traffic and b) lead to traffic speeding through the village as they tried to beat the lights.
This combination of ecological vandalism and increased road hazard is not acceptable.
